Choke Bean
Jiangsu Deenpu Petrochemical Machinery Co., Ltd offers high-quality choke beans for positive choke valves. Our DEENPU choke bean is equivalent to the Cameron type H2 big john choke bean. The body material is 410SS, lined with Tungsten Carbide (C10 or C25) or ceramic for protection against corrosive and abrasive wear.
Calibrated choke beans are used on one side of the choke manifold to control flow rate through the fixed choke box. Each bean has a specific diameter, typically in 1/64-inch increments, and is threaded into the choke box. Common sizes of choke beans include: 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 3/4, 7/8, 1, 1-1/4, and 1-1/2 inches. Choke beans can be as large as 3 inches depending on the equipment used.
We offer QPQ treatment on the body of the choke bean to enhance surface hardness, resulting in a black color finish.
